Aftershave Perfume

Aftershave PerfumeThe market for aftershave lotion is rapidly expanding as men of different age groups use it as a necessary accessory. It is used after shaving for moisturizing the skin, protecting it from razor burns etc.

Forms of Aftershaves
Aftershaves are available in the following forms:
  • Lotion
  • Gel
  • Balm
Aftershaves lotions dominate the international aftershave market. This is followed by gel and then aftershave balms.

The Aftershave Industry
According to an international research agency, there is a huge untapped market for high quality aftershaves. Currently the entire market is dominated by international brands that are quite expensive. The research also states that men do not prefer cheap unknown brands, and would also not want to spend large amount of money by buying top global brands. Thus there exists a huge market for manufacturers who can manufacture branded products at relatively lower costs.

The demand of aftershave tends to decrease with the increase in price. This is so, because with an increase in price, men tend to conserve the aftershave applied. A number of manufacturers have entered the growing market and manufacture quality aftershave keeping in mind the price range.

During the 16th century, these refined processes were used by perfumers in France and soon it became one of the leading world manufacturers of perfumes.
