History
Tracksuit was first manufactured in the early 19th century as a sports wear for men. The garment was used by athletes before an event and they would take it of just before the competition. They were also much in fashion during the hip hop & break dance period in the 1980s.
This period also saw the use of triacetate and other shiny materials for manufacturing jazzy tracksuits. This men's sportswear was smooth in texture and provided comfort to the wearer.
Tracksuits were in high demand during the decade between 1980s and 1990s and later on men started wearing them as a casual wear.
